New Claim Intake

Simplexam New Claim Intake is 90% faster than anything else.

At Simplexam, we believe your time is too valuable to waste on double data entry, multiple programs, and manual document creation. That’s why we timed several Medical-Legal practices with a stopwatch, to learn how long a typical case intake takes on average, and how much time can be saved by using Simplexam instead. While we still provide you to manually enter your data into Simplexam, we've made New Claim Intake incredibly fast using the most common document you already have; a case demographic sheet. Let Simplexam AI input your data for you. Here’s how:

Simplexam New Claim Intake

  1. Click 'New Claim Intake' (see figure 1)
  2. Click on the blue 'Demographics sheet upload' button. (see figure 2)
  3. Upload your Demographics Sheet
    • Use the blue 'Upload from your computer' button to find your demographic sheet on your computer. You may also simply drag your document into the blue square. Once it is uploaded, click the blue 'Submit' button to start the process.
  4. Wait a few seconds for Simplexam AI to process your document. (see figure 3)
    • Simplexam AI has been rigorously tested against a wide range of real case demographic sheets to really challenge its ability to accurately process data. It performs extremely well! There may be some documents that are more difficult to read than others, and sometimes information is missed or misplaced. However, overall it saves an incredible amount of time allowing users to focus on ensuring accuracy instead of hand entering each data point manually.
  5. Check for Accuracy and enter any missed information.
    • The sample demographic sheet used for creating the screenshots in this article had a pretty good set of data and was mapped very well by Simplexam AI (see fields highlighted in yellow) However, it did not have a middle name or gender listed anywhere on the document (notice the fields highlighted in red). In cases like this, the user should double check the data and update anything that is either obvious or known to be missing. In this case I updated the gender to male and left the middle initial blank. On the next page I was pleased to see that the date of injury, adjuster contact information, and both attorneys were entered in the correct fields and I only had to update a few data points. Everything else was handled by Simplexam AI!
  6. Click Save and Next to proceed. (see figure 4) Simplexam New Claim Intake reduces the time it takes to perform intake and scheduling tasks by 90% - from more than 45 minutes down to 5 minutes or less.
    • There are 3 Intake Screens:
      1. Claimant Details
      2. Claim Details
      3. Billable Item / Scheduling Details
    • You may manually enter your data into Simplexam. Uploading a Case Demographic Sheet is not required.
    • When uploading a Case Demographic Sheet, you may verify the data as you go, and fill in or make any required changes as you proceed through intake.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure all required fields are filled out to avoid errors during submission.
  • Double-check the accuracy of the uploaded demographic data before proceeding.
